Healthcare brand in Scandinavia (B2C, Scandinavian region) needing a secure app for home self-testing and lab reporting.
Challenge
Design a medical app where users buy self-testing kits, scan codes, send tests via post and receive lab results securely, with strict identity verification and data protection for the Swedish and Norwegian markets.
Solution
We designed the app structure and UX around the full journey: kit purchase, QR scan, instructions, sending the test, lab processing and result delivery. Identity is verified via BankID and Freja eID. We handled large data volumes, security and localisation, and guided the app through all required checks and certifications for App Store and Google Play.
Result
In the first month the app was downloaded 300+ times, with around 200 active users and 200 completed tests — confirming demand and the viability of the model.
